At The White House Nursery, we're proud to have our very own training facilities based at our Head Office. Our dedicated Training Academy allows us to deliver regular training, workshops and professional development sessions throughout the year, ensuring our team continue to learn, develop and grow in their roles.

Whether someone is just starting their childcare career or is an experienced practitioner looking to build on their knowledge, we're committed to helping every member of our team reach their full potential. By investing in our people, we're continually improving the quality of care and education across all of our nurseries—giving every child the very best start in life.

START YOUR CAREER IN EARLY YEARS

APPRENTICESHIPS AT THE WHITE HOUSE

An apprenticeship with The White House Nursery is a fantastic way to begin a rewarding career in Early Years.

From your very first day, you'll be part of our nursery team, learning alongside experienced practitioners while earning a recognised qualification and receiving a salary.

Rather than learning solely in a classroom, you'll gain valuable hands-on experience in a real nursery environment, building the confidence, skills and knowledge needed to become an outstanding childcare professional. Many of our apprentices go on to secure permanent roles with us, with opportunities to continue developing their careers through further qualifications and internal promotions.

Learning Through Experience

We believe the best way to learn is by doing.

As your confidence grows, you'll gradually take on more responsibility while always having the support of your colleagues around you.

You'll gain experience in areas such as:

  • Supporting children's learning and play

  • Planning engaging activities

  • Preparing learning environments

  • Completing observations and assessments

  • Building positive relationships with children and families

  • Understanding safeguarding and child development

Our aim is to help you become a confident, knowledgeable and capable practitioner who is ready for a successful career in Early Years.

Support Every Step of the Way

Every apprentice is paired with an experienced mentor who will support them throughout their journey. Your mentor is there to offer guidance, answer questions, provide feedback and help you put your learning into practice. They'll celebrate your successes, help you overcome challenges and encourage you to reach your full potential. Alongside your mentor, you'll also be supported by our Quality & Development Manager, nursery leadership teams and our In-House Training Academy, ensuring you always have someone to turn to.

At The White House Nursery, you're never learning on your own. We're committed to helping you develop the skills, confidence and experience to build a rewarding and long-lasting career in childcare.
