.......... And across the finish line!!! ..........
So this Saturday was the day of our Staff Charity Bike Ride for the Make a Wish Foundation.
For the past few weeks, the bravest of our Alvaston team have been limbering up in preparation for the big event - and now it was time to get on their bikes!
They all made a strong start from the Alvaston site, powered on through to the Borrowash site, on to the Oakwood site and gave it one last push back home to our Alvaston site.
It was tough - and of course there was a downpour - but everyone held it together for the whole 13 miles and finished in record time!
Thank you again to everyone who has made a donation - we have now smashed our Just Giving target of £300, raising a total of over £375 so far with donations still coming in.
